About

GALAXIE

Welcome to the universe.

Galaxie is what happens when great food, strong drinks, good music, and a real night-out atmosphere all get pulled into the same orbit.

We built Galaxie for the nights that are not supposed to be complicated. Meet your crew for dinner. Order a round of handshaken margaritas. Stay for one more. Let the music handle the rest.

Casual when you want it to be. Loud when you need it to be. Always built to make every earthling feel like their night just got a little more worth it.

Tray of nachos with cheese, and a cup of cheese, with tortilla chips on a blue table alongside drinks, including a cocktail with a slice of orange and a green garnish, a glass of beer, and colorful cocktails in the background.

Food. Drinks. Music.

That is the center of our universe, and everything else orbits around it.

We are talking Wakatakas in bold flavors. Loaded fries that earn their name. Nachos and chips built to be shared or not, no judgment here. Fresh salads for the Earthlings who want something lighter without leaving the atmosphere. Vegan options. Vegetarian options. A menu that actually thought about everyone at the table.

On the drinks side, you have handshaken margaritas that people come back for specifically. A rotating marg of the month for those who like a new mission every time they land. Creative cocktails. A full mocktail lineup for those who want to stay in orbit without the turbulence. And a bar that takes all of it seriously.

Then there is the music. It is not background noise here. It changes the room. It changes the night. It is part of why people stay.

A table with a drink garnished with lemon and chili powder, two food dishes with cheese, and a woman with red hair, tattoos, and wearing a white shirt, sitting next to a man with a black shirt.

One Universe. Two Different Atmospheres.

We have two docking stations, and they each have their own energy.

Louisville lives in the heart of NuLu on East Market Street. It runs all day, and it runs hard. Lunch. Dinner. Late nights. A patio that catches the neighborhood energy and an inside that takes over from there. Louisville is for Earthlings who want the full range without having to go anywhere else to get it.

Covington is on Madison Avenue in Northern Kentucky, and it has a different kind of pull to it. Happy Hour Tuesday - Friday 3 - 6 PM. More late-night momentum. A back room that does not stay quiet for long. Outdoor seating that pulls you in before you even make it through the door. Covington is for the nights that are supposed to go somewhere and always do.

Same universe. Same DNA. Two very different ways to experience it.

What We’re About

We are about bold food that does not feel like an afterthought.

We are about drinks that actually set the tone.

We are about music that changes the room.

We are about creating places
that feel easy to walk into and hard to leave too early.

Galaxie is for happy hour plans, lunch plans, and no-plan plans. It is for catching up with friends, kicking off the weekend, or finding the spot that turns the night in the right direction.

Louisville. NuLu. East Market Street.

Galaxie Louisville is your all-day, all-night landing pad in one of the most alive neighborhoods in the city. Show up for lunch and a fresh salad. Land in for the monthly margaritas. Make dinner plans or just walk in and see what happens. Stay for the music when the night gets moving in the back.

732 East Market Street. Louisville, KY 40202.

Covington. Madison Avenue. Northern Kentucky.

Covington was built to feel exactly like a real neighborhood bar should feel.

Enough room for your whole crew plus whoever they brought. Enough energy to make a random Tuesday feel like it was worth leaving the couch for because $5 Wakatakas.

Lively enough to keep you there longer than you planned. The kind of place where you pop in for one Wakataka and a margarita, and two hours later, you are still in orbit, wondering why you do not do this every week.

815 Madison Ave. Covington, KY 41011.

Why The Galaxie Universe Exists

Because going out should actually feel worth it.

Because a bar without energy is just a room with liquor in it.

Because a restaurant without a pulse is just food on a table.

Because the nights people actually remember are the ones where the food hit, the drinks were right, the music was loud enough to matter, and nobody wanted to be the first one to call it.

That is what Galaxie is here to be. Every single night. At both locations. For every Earthling who walks through the door.

Make Everyday Less Everyday

It is the whole reason this place exists.

Come for the food. Start with drinks. Stay for the music.

Let the night find its own orbit from there.

Pick your universe. We will see you when you land.
